Mickey Ptak has been chasing for over a decade. In his decade plus long tenor roaming Tornado Alley Mickey has seen and experienced the full wrath of what severe weather can produce including big time major tornado outbreaks.
Not only did Mickey chase but also experienced first hand what the devastation of the May 3, 1999 tornado outbreak did to the community of Bridge Creek, OK in which he resides in even today. |

Eight years later Mickey once again
experienced a devastating tornado outbreak when a huge 1.5
mile wide EF5 tornado leveled the small town of Greensburg,
KS on May 4, 2007 In 2007, Mickey led the Storms
of 2007 DVD and Project Greensburg, two charity efforts, to
help raise funds for the rebuilding of Greensburg Kansas and
provide a donation to the American Red Cross for disaster
